CTA Signage Experiments

Past future transit maps

Chicago's transit system has a great digital arrivals system, but I think the information could be better designed to help passengers make decisions at a glance. This UX focuses on showing which line is arriving on a platform and when the next train from that line will arrive, letting passengers know if they should cram onto a crowded train or wait for the next one. It also provides a way to show service notices without interrupting the arrivals information.
