Colgate-Palmolive-owned Hill's Science Diet came to Beardwood&Co. to revamp their packaging with an emphasis on standing out on the pet store shelves. The redesigned packaging focuses on the relationship between pet and parent with large-scale pet portraits that make a connection to the shopper.
I worked on the project from beginning to end, creating multiple design concepts, building them out into full design systems, and extending to over 100 SKUs.
The redesign won the 2020 Dieline Awards' Designalytics Effectiveness Award, recognizing the 17.3% increase in sales during the six months following the redesign's debut.
